??? Audigy 2 and 24/96 Audio Receiver

Hi All,

I have an Audigy 2 SB0240 using kx drivers 3537. I have my Audigy connected to a Sony 24/96 Audio Video Receiver by way of digital out of the Audigy to digital in (SPDIF) of the receiver. I noticed in the forums that the master slider in kx mixer should be all the way up. This does not work with my setup because the output is too loud and distorts. My question is should I come out of the Front or Rear output of the Audigy 2. Or should I set the source of my receiver to analog instead of digital. I use this setup to monitor my recording using Gigastudio and Sonar Producer 3. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My hardware is:
2.5 ghz processor, Windows XP, 1 gig ddr ram, 128 meg Nvidia FX 5200 graphics card. Audigy 2 SB0240, KX drivers 3537 final.
