Hi,
I'm trying to work in logic but I can't record anything. I can record in The windows recorder so I think I have to change a couple of settings in logic. Is there anyone here with great knowledge of logic? Help me please, i'm desperate and have little of time. -Guitaristje

if youre in such a hurry, in logic do Options > Preferences > Audio Hardware &...
There in Audio Driver 2 tab untick ASIO. In Audio Driver mark PC AV and choose a driver either EASI mme or EASI Direct sound. In the properties you can specify a device or use windows' default, just like sound recorder does. If windows recorder works, any of these two should just as well. This will save you for now. Without more info it would take very long to troubleshoot what you're doing with asio... and i'm in a bit of a hurry too hope it helps |

Hi!
I´m not familiar with logic, but is this not the wrong way to disable ASIO? I thought ASIO (kx-asio!) is the only way to get low latency and fine features??? So try to enable kx-asio driver and enable all possible asio inputs in logic and draw lines in DSP window from PROLOG input of your choice to EPILOG ASIO of your choice and see what comes... Greetings! TravelRec.

well, I assumed guitaristje was already using ASIO, and for some reason he's not getting it right. Since he's "desperate and has little of time", but mme recording works...
Anyway logic works with asio out of the box... Unless it's a kx problem. |
