Setting transport

I love the Kx project. Not only does it provide better sound and easier configuration of my setup, but it allows me create my own sound settings. I've got one for my music, movies, and one for when my roommates are asleep. But everytime I upgrade to the new version my saved settings are no longer compatable. Would it be possible for the kx people to create software that ports from version to version? That be awesome! Thanks so much.

in most cases, the settings should be compatible (as far as I remember, since 3534)
however, sometimes the DSP effects are significantly changed between the versions -- this might break the compatibility

I will try to make 3538 more user-friendly
