Optical Playback On A Live Drive - Help

I upgraded to these drivers as for some reason the Creative Labs drivers will not recognise my SB Live Platinum.

I use an Optical connection from the front of my Live Drive into my Inspire 5.1 system, this obviously used to work fine when the Creative drivers worked. Would somebody be able to tell me how I cant get this to work with the KX drivers?

The only sound I get at the moment is when I plug my headphones into the Live Drive. That works fine.

Any help would be appreciated as I am pulling my hair out. In approx 11 hours I will be buying a new Soundcard (not creative) unless you people are able to help me.

In the main page of KX mixer there are lots of options to route your sound to the digital output...

Hi!

Please don´t buy another card before you´ve given your card a chance with kx (my opinion)!

If you want to get your sound through SPDIF just route your sources in DSP window to wherever you want. Sure, it would take a lot of time to find all features of kx and use them successfully (it´s not a TV Set, but a Space Rocket

), but if you are inside it, you never will take any other! Please read the FAQ and Help-files shipped with the driver and read this forum here and you´ll be lucky. Many other users have made this experience some time ago...
