Individual Speaker Volume Control

Hi Guys

I've searched through the forum and the help and I can't seem to be able find out how to change the volume of speakers individually. I saw mentioned in a post that it was possible. I have a SB Live 5.1. Also I couldn't find any docs for what the VCenterA, VRearA and VRearW on the surrounder screen mean. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks
