SB Live cards seem different....

I have two SB Live cards..............

1. CT 4760 [which is 1999 vintage I think]. With the kx ASIO driver I can get a latency of about 5ms or less!

2. SB 0220 which is 5.1 Live card, and I believe a newer vintage. With the ASIO I can get a latency of ONLY 21 ms.

I tried both cards at separate times in the same computer, reinstalling Kx software. Using Kompakt sampling software.

Why is the latency SO different? What am I doing wrong? Or is there a difference between the cards?

the ASIO latency difference has nothing to do with the cards as far as i kno… but it would be interesting to follow it up
