HyperThreading support in kX?

As the subject says, what is the current state of hyperthreading support in kX drivers? Has anyone tested it and does it work stable? Also, what is the current state of Audigy 2 ZS support? Does 24/96 and 24/192 mode work? Thanks.

24/96 hasn't been supported yet, 24/192 is impossible and hyperthreading/smp is currently working as far as i know in 3537

Why would 24/192 be imposible on ZS card?

not exactly
the p16v chip supports 24/96 streams
there is no ASIO support for 24/96, but DirectSound/WinMM applications should work fine

24/192 has not been fully tested
24/48 should work fine
24/44.1 is not supported

re-read our 'playback guide' for details

hi

first of i want to say that my english is very bad
my problem:
i am using the creative sb live driver. i have a pc from dell, so the driver was installed as i got the pc.
but sometimes, when i am in teamspeak 2, i am hissing. nobody can understand me.
so, than i read in a forum that this problem will be fixed when i install the kX Audio Driver. but than i read that there are some problems with hyper threading. the problem: i have a 3 ghz pc with hyper threading!

can i use the driver from this site
http://www.comania.de/kxproject/index.htm
kX Driver 5.10.0.3537 (full): 02/16/2004 [ EXE (4.1MB) ]

will this driver work with hyper threading??

thx

Yes, but make sure that your card is on the "supported" list.

ok, thx.
can you give me a link to the supported list?
i think that i have the "Creative SV Live! Series (WDM)" card.
if not, where can exactly see which card i have??

sorry for this question...

thx

cya

EDIT:
i found this:
The Dell OEM SB Live! (SB020x) is not yet supported since it uses a custom version of the EMU10k1, whose details are unknown. Experimental support may be provided when more information about it becomes available.

damn! i have a dell oem sb live! card => the driver doesn't support my card.
