Equalizing

Hi there. I'm a newbie here and i've just installed yesterday the KX drivers. I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1 soundcard.

The sound seems to me more accurate now and the med's and treble sounds more crystal. But i think i have a problem.

The bass is not that deep anymore with the KX drivers and i hear the 50-60Hz frequencies at higher volume than usual with the Creative drivers.

Can you tell me how can i lower the 56-60Hz frequencies and higher the range 20Hz-50Hz. I think it would sound terrific if i could do that.

in the DSP where the timbre plugin is… replace that with an eq plugin

Hi. You have to open the kX DSP window by right clicking the kX icon in the task bar. You will find there an equalizer icon at the top. Open it by double click and voila. I suggest you to install the UFX suit of plugins from Max M. in this link:

It's full of really good plugins from parametric eq, graphic eq, to reverb, crossovers, etc...

BTW. I think this issue has been discussed before here, so it could be usefull to search for it in the forum.

oops, we were writing at the same time

SIR81, you have to install UFX before to see that eq. There is another one that comes by default but I don't remember its name, and I think UFX is much better as well as better interface.

Guys i have a problem.

When i select my UFX 10 band Equalizer plugin it gives me an error "all GPR registry entries are occupied".

What does this mean? What can i do to make it work?
