Hi
I have a problem in Cakewalk Home Studio 2004 if someone has an idea what's the origin it would help a lot. I am using XP, a soundblaster live 5.1 and trying to use wdm kx drivers. I've managed to make it work using Lemury plug-in in DSP FX and configuration described in KX drivers Newbies guide But it works only with mme ! When i switch to wdm in HS Audio/Advanced i get no sound at all and have been wondering for a while what can be the problem...[&o] Thanks, any idea will be welcome ps : Does someone know how it can be checked that there are no old drivers version for soundcard on the machine ? |

www.hardwareheaven.com/cleaner to get rid of drivers
WDM and MME should be the same… unless you mean ASIO… inwhich you have to use the specific asio inputs

No i really meant wdm
![]() The funny thing when i switch from mme to wdm is that a midi output disappears in list of midi outputs which is the only one output that works !!! Thanks for the link for cleaning the old drivers.. I think i will uninstall KX drivers, check that utility, reintall kx drivers and see if things change... Surprisingly but there must be a reason DSP plugins default config never worked when i installed kx drivers as it normally should without changing any parameter shouldn't it ? That's why i switched to Lemury's wgich i find more evident... Thanks for your help
