Clicks and Pops

Hi,

Sometimes, and now is one of those times, I get clicks and pops from the sound card.
It never happened with the creative drivers, is there something that might be causing this please?

Normally it happens once the PC has been on for a while, and a reboot cures it. But not today. I have rebooted, and they are still there.

Thanks,

Simon.

are you using ASIO? or any PCI based raid/scsi/sata adaptors? this may include chips on the motherboard aswell

hi, i have the same problem the other poster desribed above, and my motherboard has bulit-in RAID and SATA, although the SATA is disabled, and the RAID is operating in ATA mode as a second ATA controller. What should i do to try and stop these clicks? in my case they are only for WAV files, and seem worse when WAV files are louder...

(ps. i'm not sure what 'using' ASIO means, since i'm very new to these drivers.. are the drivers not either ASIO or something else??)
