Groove agent volume low.

Don't know if I should post it here cause but i think it may have something to do
with kx.
I'm using groove agent vst instrument with cubase sx.
When it is playing it's volume is too low on my speakers. If i turn volume of this vst up it shows clipping. on mixer it looks like it should be louder.
I play guitar with it and it is much louder but the volume graph of stereo(guitar) and vst goes aprox. to equal hight.
any suggestions?
Thank you.

all volume mixers are up. i can lower volume of other instruments but then i have to lower them half way down. then my whole recording is too low.
midi instruments and wav are the same volume.

Just as a test, try moving the RecL and RecR lines in the DSP from the epilog's record connections to asio0 and asio1 in the same epilog.

Hm. RecL aand RecR fromepilog to asio1 and asio0 also in epilog?
How can i do that?
And also there is already in0 and in1 routed to asio0 and asio1.
fxbus2 and fxbus3 from fxbus is routed to asio2 and asio3 in epilog, so
can I route recL/R to asio4/5? If i can How to route from epilog to epilog?
Thanks!

First, to get a better understanding of all the connections I am talking about, You have to open the DSP window. The button for this is on the KX mixer itself or on a right mouse click on the kx icon in the system tray.

And yes, you can use whatever asio input line you wish. Remember though, that no matter what input you are using, if you are using vst, the output goes back to a wave format. Also, in cubase, in the settings for vst connections, see what outputs you have selected with asio.

I can asure you that this "low volume perception" has nothing to do with kX
for more then obvious reasons.

As for Groove Agent;
Don't forget it's a "Drum module", so (as a rule) the overall percieved loudness of a
non-compressed/limited/mastered drum kit can be low eventhough signal peaks are at 0dB or higher.

I also use Groove Agent+Cubase+kX. No problems.
Just lower the other instruments to balance the mix to your taste, then adjust your Master to avoid clipping.

I know where is dsp. I just don't know how to route from something in epilog to something also in epilog.

System Specs

inputs to inputs do not work, only outputs to inputs in the DSP… what are you trying to route to what?

So I can't do it. I can try to connect RecL/R from xrouting but not from epilog.
Or did I misunderstood something.

I can turn volume of groove agent up in mixer but then it shows clipping. So i tur nit down just a bit below the clipping line. but when do this with guitar it is much louder. So i have to lower guitar volume in half to be able to play with drums.
