zero volume at winamp startup
Hi,
I've installed kx driver and everything worked just fine. But some days ago trying to listen to some music with winamp i found out that every time i start winamp output volume in kx mixer falls to zero. Moreover when i raise the volume it falls down again at the start of every song. I tried various media programs but the result was just the same. Is it my winXP pro problem or i missed something in kx driver? Please, help. |

i think it may be winamp's internal settings, try uninstalling and then re-installing

But when i play windows media player (for a change) - nothing changes, the problem remains! It happens whenever i start some media application. I tried to reinstall kx - the result is just the same.
Frankly, i just want to understang one thing: is it XP problem or is it kx problem... |

That's weird. Try using waveOut plugin in winamp instead of DirectSound and see if anything changes.

Make sure either output plugin is set to KX 0/1 and NOT primary sound driver, I clicked on that by mistake once and it caused problems......could be that..Nice thing about winamp, can be ripped out and reinstalled in a snap
