creative and kx drivers

So is there no way to use some of the creative stuff while using the kx stuff for other things? The only reason I tried kx drivers is because I was having some trouble with cubase. That trouble appears to have gone away with the kx drivers (yay). However, there are some cool things I liked to do with the creative software such as slow a tune way down without changing pitch, and a "record what you hear" feature which is cool for making quick sound bites of songs, movies etc.

There are quite a few programs out there for adjusting song speed. And kx already has a record what you hear feature

System Specs

the "wave" slider in the record window lets you record what you here - and if you mean the wave-shaper program that came with the card for the slow-tune stuff - many programs out there do that, but it should still work
