kX ASIO is not based on kernel streaming
we use our own access mechanism which seems to be a little bit better ![]() /E |

Quest 1.: renoise 1.281 does not indicate kx ASIO in the choice dialog box - there's only "ASIO", which crashes the WinME badly when i try to run it.
Is it possible to "make renoise see" the kx ASIO? Quest 2.: Can kx ASIO and ASIO4ALL COEXIST>? Maybe renoise will "see" the ASIO4ALL! |

yes they can coexist - but once you select ASIO in some programs ,there should then be an option to change the ASIO Driver

damn - renoise still doesnt see - neither the asio4all nor the kx ASIO; The renoise people say i can use renoise with kx ASIO, but renoiise shows only "Directsound" or "ASIO" possibilities, "ASIO" is for the SB ASIO, which crashes aloso on other software....
Can i somehow "make" renoise see the kx ASIO, or "force" it? |

I run KX and ASIO4ALL on the SAME card. I use this setup to be able to run VSTACK and Logic at the same time. This setup is for live gigs where I run various VST instruments thru VSTack and the awesome sounding Logic instruments like EVD6. All with one SB live!
In ASIO4ALL i set the output to KX 4/5 and set Logic's driver to ASIO4ALL and then the logic outputs to KX's FXBus 4/5. This works for running Cubase SX and Logic at the same time as well. I can send logic's output via FXBus 4/5 to any ASIO input for recording into Cubase. Works Flawlessly see my dsp setup here: http://www.schel.homestead.com/rig.html hope it helps |
