ac3 Passthrough
Hello !
I have an Audigy platinum ex and I'm trying to learn how the Kx drive works so I have a few questions . How does the ac3 passthrough works ? At the DSP window , when I pass a signal trough the ac3passthrough or the ac3passthru_x or the b2b what happens to it ? what's the diference between them ? Can I get a signal coming out of my card without latency ? |

Hi DJ_STICK!!!!
i went through the thread u have given above...still some queries....  today i was using media player classic with AC3 filter for playing some videos.....In the player output, earlier it was system default,the palyer used AC3 filter giving me 6 channel sound....i checked in Directshow filter window.. but, when i choose directsound Kx wave 0/1 output....no sound.....my AC3 filter is showing that input is going but no output (showing green n red strip in L & R).....Y???is it so..?//The_neo |

i haven;t used the filter before… check to see if it works through kX wave 4/5 first
if you have a custom dsp layout this may be the cause (no wave0/1 actually connected to anything)
