Something's missing

I was bored so i've reading through some old posts her on the kX forum… and it at least half of the threads i read the start asked a question, got an answer, but there was no reply saying whether it worked or not, adn no thanks

kinda rude i guess… and those are the people with 1 or 2 posts as well - so they haven't decided to help others here

i guess it can be put down to time restraints but… ah i'll end my nonsensical rant here

btw i think that when the next kX release goes final, eugene should post a message in the news forum so it appears on the front page

Yep,..I know what you mean. (Iritates the hell out of me for as long as I'm with kX)
It's plain *rude* if you ask me, but hey,...it seems to be typical forum user behaviour in general.

There are different people out there, with different personalities. Some are willing and happy to share their knowledge on the practical side of kX (dj_stick), some on the technical (LeMury, thanx; Max M.; Eugene, from time to time), and some don't bother, because they are just passing by. Some think that the experienced should be obliged to help the beginners, and they are right to some extent... and to some not.

Anyway, the support from some people here has been great, so they shouldn't feel offended when they know that they've done their job, even when they don't receive any gratitude!

Yeah man, you are irreplaceable dj_stick. If it was not for your "KX Getting Started Guide" and your replies to questions, new forum members would be at a lost. I guess since the KX Drivers are free, people start taking the actual purpose of the forum (which is to find solutions to any bugs and problems that might be found with the drivers) for granted. I really wish people would start taking this forum more seriuosly if they are not going to cooperate with a monetary donation. So, for as long as you have energy and time on your hands, keep up the great work you are doing.

Nobody should bother for that. I'm sure most of the oneposters go back to creative's crap by themselves, not beceuse of kX's quality, or the good job many do here at the forum. I'll keep posting anyways. The people who, as it's been said, are just passing by should not let down anyone

I think I'd made a mention about this to you a while ago DJ_Stick. It's a mainly a problem when a question gets asked and answered and no other reply comes back for the main reason that other readers with similar problems never know if there's a resolve or not. Most often times some of us who's been here for a while will tell a new user to search the forum, but all the while that person comes to a thread with a sudden stop and no resolve. I'm not much in the way of hearing a thank you as much as I am into hearing a, "hey that worked".

containing text like
"welcome to the kX forums, to help you with yours and others queries, please search for a similiar problem, and if you cannot find a suitable resolution post a message here.
Please reply with a confirmation whether it worked or not, and any other steps you took to get it to work, or any issues still unresolved"
or something to that effect
