SB live soft Mod?

Hi, I keep running across the topic of soft modding a SB live 5.1 to a audigy 2. Now I use KX and love them...wouldn't dream of going back..they sound amazing. I am just wondering if any forum memebers has tried this and if there are any improvements in sound?, I think I'll stick with Kx though.

i have tried modded all types of drivers availble on net on my sblive 5.1....which includes YouPax,regeneration,Rivnix..,Bigpompista....etc... ..blaa...blaa....I think Kx drivers r best when comes to performance n sound.....in every set of modded drivers there r some faults....like rear speakers r just producing some noise not music....

.....well , with KX drivers my everything works fine games(aoe,CS, etc.) watching Movies is gr8 experience....ya i know that Kx still hav e some issues regarding D3D n EAX.....well, i think they will be sorted out soon..i m optimistic in this view

i myself have never tried creative drivers… but i do have 2 creative "frisbees"

hehe i bought my live! for kX alone… before that i had a pci128 on a driver only package

I used creative drivers a few times, but never on my own machine. When I first got my live card, the EMU hacked drivers was up and going and I used that the second I got my live home.
