P16V 96khz Audio.

I am writing a linux alsa driver to work with the P16V chip on the Audigy2 sound card.
I now have sound working on the output.
I need a bit of help. Which registers do I access for:
1) Changing the sample rate.
2) Changing the amount out channels per stream.
3) Changing the sample format.

Currently, I can output at 96khz, 4 channels, S32_LE sample format(24bit audio in a 32bit value).

I would like to be able to output 2 and 6 channels etc.

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, I am personally too dumb to help you, however there are some references going on to the P16V chip in TravelRec's thread concerning his coverter project.

You may want to send PMs to some of the people in that thread. Check out the last page.

Good luck
