How to connect?

Hi!
I have read and searched this forum for several months now trying to connect my APS+edrive to
a Soundblaster Live 5.1 (sb00100). The hardware is working well together without conflicts and is recognized by kx so I can switch between them. I have tried several connections using a spdif cable from APS pinouts to
Sb spdif in ( and its pins). In Sb and in APS "spdif status" it says:

spdif inputs r-rate locked s-stream locked v-valid audio
spdif a: unused
spdif b: unused
spdif c: unused or same as b
spdif outputs
0 2109204 1 2109204 2 2109204 24 bits/48 000 Hz

I have unmuted all in-and-outs in the mixer and different configurations in the DSP but I cannot get any signal from APS thru the outputs of Sb.

I use my computer mainly for making music so the extra outputs using Sb would come in handy.
I have tried to make it work for so long! I wish someone could tell me...plug in x, turn on y,
enable z and voila! Please help me!
