??? 3538a AC97 I2S Volume Control

Hi All,

Once again, GREAT WORK on new drivers. My question is this. I have installed the new drivers and am trying to use the new feature AC97 I2S Routing Mode feature. I have this setting activated and I'm trying to record using a mic through the Line-In (the mic is connected to a tascam multi-track recorder just to boost the signal and provide some mix capabilities) The mic is coming into a channel on the Tascam and out to the Line-In of my Audigy 2 SB0240. I have unmuted the AC97 2 in the mixer and I can hear the mic through Sonar 3, but I can't get any volume even when the AC97 2 volume is all the way up. I can see the recording level in Sonar 3 so I know it is recording. What am I missing? I have unmuted and raised the volume of everything in the mixer, but nothing seems to raise the line-in level. How do I control the input volume for line in when using this setting?

Thanks Again For Great Drivers!!!

System Specs

the feature is not new, the button in the ac97 page, however is - but i don't think it works

start -> run "kxctrl --gui"

"sac97 2 0"

"shw 19 1"

this should enable the correct routing
