Audigy ES vs LS

Could someone please explain to me the difference between the ES and LS versions of the original Soundblaster Audigy?

Which one would be better for gaming?

Audigy LS does not work with kX

Audigy ES Does however

the only real difference if using creative drivers is that the ES is OEM and does not come in a retail bundle like the LS does

Thanks for the quick reply dj_stick

Just out of interest why is it that the Audigy LS is not supported by the KX driver? Is the card based on a EMU10Kx chip?

no the LS is not based on the 10k2 chip for some reason (cost cutting perhaps)
