Increase Multimedia Keyboard Vol Control Sensitivity?

Hi, I have my keyboard set up that the Home and End keys are functioning as a volume control (it controls the "Master Mixer" in the windows volume control) Anyway, pressing the end key will bring it down by 4 values (4/100) in the kxmixer. Is there a way to make it only change by one? (so instead of pressing the key 25 times to be at zero volume i'd press it 100? Thanks for any advice you have!

BTW, it is just a remapped keyboard situation so think of this as the exact same thing you would be dealing with if I had an actual button/dial meant for volume control on my keyboard.
