KX and Presscott
Hi all. I'm a user of KX Project drivers with a Soundblaster Live! 1024 Player in a Pentium III 933 MHz and the systems is working very well with KX drivers. I allways recomend this drivers.
![]() Now I am looking for buying a new computer, and it will be a Pentium IV 3 GHz Presscott (Hyperthreading). I will work only with software, so I want to use a Live! and KX like in my other computer, but I am reading that the new versions of KX drivers don't work with Hyperthreading. Does any version work with Hyperthreading? May I forguet to use a Live! + KX ? I am considering to by my new computer tomorrow, so I will appreciate your comments. ![]() Thanks!! |

kX should work with HT with versions 3537 and above. If it does not, disable HT

OK, thanks for your answer.
The fact that perhaps I will need to disable th HT....mmmm....I don't want to have this problem, so I have buy an M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496, but I will use my old Soundblaster with KX in the other PC, of course!! KX rulez.

hmmm, Why wouldn't you get a audiophile if you can? This is a very good card. Kx rules but these two cards are in different spectrums....the audiophile is a pro card....meant specifically for recording. There is no real comparison between the two. Kx drivers are meant for people who mean to get the most out of there creative products....If you can afford an audiophile then get it......whats the question?..
