Shutdown Xp, again

Is there any solution for this yet? ... other than quiting kx mixer before shutdown?

I have read the faq, and MS site...
windows XP, SP2, (also happened with SP1)
SBlive,
Kx version 5.10.0.3537

When i try to shutdown, or restart everithing freezes, even mouse pointer. Then I must do hardware restart or shutdown...
But, if I first quit KX mixer, then shutdown, it is ok.

Sorry, I didn't explain everything, becose i have seen that other people also have shutdown problems, and solution is quiting kx mixer before shutdown...

So.. is there any other solution?

Or time get new sound card.
