Hi all,
i have Creative Inspire 4.1 Speakers, Sound Blaster Live! Digital Environment SE, and 3537 driver, the problem is that i get very low bass, i don't know y, i have set the speaker configuration to 4.0 and 4.1 at all presets in surrounder, Quadro in Speaker config in windows, nothing, increased the bass to max in Winamp with little difference, even the limiter kicked in to reduce the dB output at that level, the only way to get "some" bass is to increase the VRearD in surrounder to max (20ms), i don't know what's the connection here, but it helps, nothing else does, i don't know what's wrong! the sound is weak, please help, thanks. N.B: i noticed something else, the "Sub is connected" setting is for the Sub connected to the centre channel, i think! it makes no difference at all when using it. |

This means that your speakers do not use subwoofer signal coming output of the card but they extract sub signal on their own from front/rear sum instead... So you faced the famouse "phase problem" (search this forum for "Phase, Rear" keywords) |
