Aspects of 3d SE
Hey for the DSP guys..what dose this actually do in terms of DSP?...what eefects are invloved?...like I have got the response that it's crap..I have messed with it but I don't like it....tin's out my set up...thats all I know...

I guess that's something embedded in the AC97 codec and has nothing to do with dsp routing.

AKAIK it's a 3d stereo enhancement feature found on AC97 devices.

Actually I am from the technical school by education so I like to see specs....what it basically said is that it makes a more prominate and lively sound stage for 2.0 setups.. what ever taht means..i couldn't find any actual specifications that I would consider to be good...I was just curious...may add some depth to 2.0 don't know I like 5.1...

my old computer's onboard sound had it - it sounded like a strange reverb plugin, not much more

well..what it seems to do to my 5.1 setup is feed alot more signal to my center..or atleast thats what it sounds like....
