Sonar 3/4 and ASIO
Hi, I haven't been able to make Sonar 3/4 work with KX ASIO (it doesn't detect it), it only detects an Adobe ASIO driver that uses DirectX though. Also I've been able to use kX ASIO with Cubase SX 2 without any problems, any ideas on what might be the problem?
Thanks! |

In Sonar go to;
Options->Audio->Advanced->Driver Mode-> select ASIO..! Restart Sonar and you'll see KX ASIO stuff in the same menu as above. Set Latency etc. etc. /LeMury |

Thanks for the tip, but that was not it (I was already trying that)
Looks like Sonar doesn't wanna recognize KXs ASIO driver if it is set at 44khz instead of 48khz (probably because it need an input to recognize it?) Anyway, changing the ASIO to 48khz fixed it, yay! Btw, it is odd how when you set WDM to 10ms you get a higher latency than what it tells, with ASIO works like a charm though
