Hi, just a little issue I need assistance dealing with
Yeah, I just installed kX again for like the 4th time, this time to fix an issue I have with the rear speakers and there is still no rear output and I have tried every 4.0/4.1 combo in surrounder.
I have an sb0240 Audigy2 running on XP-SP2, using 3537 drivers. I would like to know what the deal is with this. I never had this problem before. I was using a headset for a while, but I haven't since there is no one on Echolink lately. EDIT -- actually, there is rear output, but the volume is quite low, I can hear it, but I can't adjust it Last edited by Chris Curtis; Oct 20, 2004 at 05:50 PM. |

What speaker setup do you have in multimedia properties? What are you listening to when you don't have rear output (or just silent), mp3's, movies, games..? What are your settings in surrounder?

EDIT -- Gawd, all this time to realize that the din connector on the subwoofer wasn't in all the way. Well, That'll just about rule out all but user error.
<feels like a part of the anatomy>Hey, well I can say that kX is a superior piece of software. Granted I lose EAX effects, but I hardly care about reverb in a game. As long as the audio is positional though.... I did notice that the AC-3 decoder is a lot better than the creative stock, it's extremely close to realtime when it works properly, audio is in time with the images from my dtv receiver.
