S/PDIF external decoding problem using kX
Hi,
I play AC3/DTS files using the S/PDIF-out and an external decoder. After installing the kX audio drivers, my receiver recognizes the AC3/DTS signals as PCM, and i hear only 2 channels. It seems that the signal is being decoded [or otherwise altered] by my soundcard (audigy 2). I have tried many things to fix this, e.g. changing AC3 passthru mode; changing S/PDIF frequency; even uninstalling kX drivers; Nothing works... Can anyone please tell me how to change back the original settings, or to get kX to send the AC3/DTS sound to my external receiver WITHOUT altering/decoding the signal? |

Disabling S/PDIF-out AC3 decoding...
Thanks for replying, dj_stick,,
but the only AC3-decoding i can turn off in the kX-Mixer is for the S/PDIF-in, no such switch i can find for the S/PDIF-out, am i missing something here?? This becomes very frustrating, since before installing kX all was well. Thanks again.. Yours truly, tensorbundle. |

that option *should* be global
