No and..., no I don't think so . But you can get 64bit preview driver from creative http://preview.creativelabs.com/default.aspx.

will xp 64 be able to "emulate" the drivers in 32 bit or something? I heard it was supposed to be backwards compatable (this could have a big impact on my getting a 64bit machine, which I wanted to get...)

Windows 64bit can run almost all 32bit applications, but drivers have to be true 64bit.

ahh ic isnt it just a compiling thing though? tell the compiler to compile for 64 bit... I thought i heard somewhere that the 64 bit processors do have the same instruction sets (with some extra of course) so you just wouldnt be using the extra... thats how I understand it though

No you can't just recompile the 32bit drivers - you should also consider the changes made to the os core. Most 32bit drivers are just incompatible, but I've heard that for example the fasttrak66 raid driver (32bit) also works under Windows64. If you want more info on that http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system...t/default.mspx

all dirvers in winxp 64bit have to be full on 64 bit... thats why i was hoping there may be somthing in the workz for us 64bit junkies...

i run xp64 and on my system/hardware setup everything is faster for sure...
ive been using the creative 64bit betas but thier lacking alot...

ive been able to find drivers for everything else in a huge collection @ http://www.planetamd64.com/

all 32 bit apps run on WOW or "windows on windows" and thus far ive had no issues with games or music apps...

was just hoping there was a KX driver available as they Rock...
