Microfone/Linein

Hi there.

I'm also new to kxproject drivers. the sound is awesome, no doubt.
gsif support, better asio support (allthough 24bit/96000hz ain't working for me).
but i'm kinda pissed that i can't use my microfone nor linein.

with the creative drivers both worked well and also ventrilo worked.
with kxproject vetrilo is giving me some failure notice called:
InputFindVolFader failed (-1) for non-Mux based Mixer.

so .. erh yeah .. wtf ?? ..

and when i use a wav editor and want to record from my stereo,
i don't get any signal at all. yes i have checked the knowledge base.
and the gui, i went to the record options, turned on aux and line/mic in.
nothing .. i have an audigy2zs retail: sb0350 10k2 [d800].

i do need to record stuff like my old mix tapes and vinyls.
so could please somebody give me a hint what i'm doing wrong here??

DSP…
direct connection from the ac97 ins on the prolog to the recl and recr of the epilog (or the asio ins)
works fine for me, and i have the same card as you
24/96 asio works for no-one

and kX does not use the windows mixer, so ventrilo will not find the faders its looking for

hmm .. i did that.

but it still doesn't work. not the microfone and not linein.

ok .. found it.
works now .. i can hear the incoming data (linein/micin) and can record them.

only ventrilo still doesn't work. is there any way to use the mic in ventrilo?
or any other voicetool?? ..

yes

if you can record the sound, then ventrilo should work fine
othr kX users have gotten this program to work using kX

don't forget to set the record source in the ac97 window

ok .. done that ..

but still .. in ventrilo settings i can choose between:

kX Wave SB0xxx [d800] 0/1 and HQ

for input device and mixer..

nevertheless, i tried all sorts of options there .. still nothing

..

HELP !! ..
