Audacity and other programs not working

I've just downloaded the lastest version of the Kx driver, and I'm having trouble getting it to work with the programs Audacity and Jesusonic.
I've got a guitar hooked up, I can hear it through my speakers just fine, but the sond is not passing through to any of the programs. They were both working before I switched drivers. Any ideas from someone who maybe also uses these programs?

basic ac97 settings issue

set the correct input in the ac97 window

set the ac97 fader in the rec window and unmute it

I have tried that... I did exactly as it as it said in the tutorial, but still no luck.

set the record source in your programs to kX Wave
