SBLive 5.1 vs Maya 44 MK II
Hi there!
I own SBLive 5.1 0220 model. I use it to record one stereo track or 2 mono tracks at time throught budget preamps like Phonic mixer and behringer mic preamp. Is upgrade to Audiotrack Maya 44 MKII resonable if I will still use my preamps? Will I really need 24/96 mode in these setup? I don't really need to record 4 mono tracks simultaneously in my home recordings. Is some Audigy card which can do 24/96 plus kx driver better than Maya? P.S. I'm happy with low latency ASIO with kx & SBLive, thanks Eugene! |

the maya card should be fine for recording. 24/96 is not needed at all, unless you feel the need for it

Maya is fine, it's right. But it costs much more than SBLive. But I don't know if I notice any changes in the sound and don't know buy or not buy it!
