digital and analog out simultaneously?

I have a sblive 5.1 card and I need both the digital and analog outs to be active at the same time...will the KX drivers allow that and if not is there any way to do it with my card?

I have it in my htpc and need to send audio to my recievers digital input for 5.1 and to my tv's analog input so i don't have to have the reciever on everytime I use the htpc.

firstly just fyi - using a Live! card you CANNOT get 5.1 sound out of a single digital connection

Now once that is said you will need to fashion an adaptor to connect to the AUD_EXT header of your card

I think you missunderstood me...I am using the spdf out to send the encoded 5.1 stream from dvd's to my reciever which then does the decoding.

I need the analog outputs to be active so I can hook them up to my tv's speaker inputs so I don't have to have my reciever on everytime I use my htpc.

Basicly I don't want to have to check and uncheck the "digital output only" box every time I want to go from movies to something else that would be fine through my tv's speakers.

I don't know what you mean in the last part of your post, could you explain further or point me to a link that does?...I assume it's a way to make digital and analog out active at the same time?
