What's about Creative SoundBlaster® Live!™ 24-bit ?

SoundBlaster® Live!™ 24-bit. Does it works with KX-driver ?
Or in the future ?

Hardware limitation, Live! 24bit doesn't have 'kX' chip...

System Specs

me too, LOL!

Maybe you still had the Creative driver on your system somewhere and windows just automatically installed it. Or are you saying you can control the sound card using kX Mixer and different kX DSP setups? Or do you also have a kX compatible sound card installed as well as the Live 24 Bit card?

Also what does kX say your card model is in bottom right corner of KX Mixer?

CT4832 is a "Sound Blaster Live! Value" and not a "Sound Blaster Live 24bit".

LOL I figured he might have had a compatible sound card but just didnt know it (he thought it was a Live 24 Bit), that's why I asked him what sound card model kX listed his card as?

Still, I wonder what made him think he had a Live! 24Bit. Cause if he bought the card new and in a box that said Live24 Bit, this is an interesting matter.

Hehe
Yeah I wondered the same thing.

BTW: For anyone else who is not sure what model card they have, etc, there is a list on Creative's web site:

List of Creative Audio Products
