??? Mirroring Front Channel To Rear Jack... How?

Ok, I'm trying to mirror the sound output that would go to my rear jack (I have front/rear swapped) to also go to the front jack so I can plug in my headphones to the front jack and have the same sound coming out of there, that way I don't need a splitter at the back. Right now, when I try this, I get huge feedback from the speakers when they are plugged into the front channel jack. Does anyone know why this is? I have a SBLive! 5.1... also, is it possible to use the digital output as something other than a digital output? Perhaps a line out would be really handy for me, or just another analog output I can hookup a recorder to or so? Thanks very much, I can post a picture of my DSP settings although I'm not really sure why they are set the way they are, all I know is my ASIO works

EDIT: I forgot to mention I tried going to the surrounder and setting to 2.1 + Copy, 4.1 + Copy, no dice. I still get mega feedback on the speakers only on the front jack, even when my recording is set to Line-In and there is no mic plugged in. I have also tried swapping the front and rear back to normal, and tried different surrounder settings, but I always get feedback on the front jack.

If you donīt really need the surrounder - get rid off it; unload also the epilog. Load instead of it one k1lt plugin from the proFX and connect there what you want. So you can copy outputs by wiring them together on one source output. nothing easier than that - and you can switch around on the fly without touching a cable!

I'll try that, any idea as to why I'm getting feedback on that jack though?

No, not really - since I donīt used the surrounder anyway - think it was a kind of double-connection or a loop?!
