kX mixer missing in tray
Hi. I have strange issue here. There is no kX mixer icon in the tray. I've tried to run the executable in the kx program files folder, but it pops an error with
Error initializing your Audio Card Please reinstall drivers If you haven't rebooted afer setup - please reboot now. If kX Setup is currently in progress - ignore this message The strange thing is that the drivers are working well. Only the panel is missing. Actualy my problem is the reverb effect of the MIDI's i play. So... if anyone knows how to show the mixer, or how the turn off the delay efect, please post ![]() SB Live 5.1 / Win XP SP2 / kX 3534 / Cubase VST32 5 P.S. My motherboard is with VIA chipset, do you think that might be the source of the huge problems i am having with Cubase? Thanks in advance! |

The thing is that a friend of mine has solved my problem described here - http://www.hardwareheaven.com/soundfonts-midi/66511-strange-latency-issue.html and i don't want to reinstall the drivers.
But it's in the middle of the night here, so i can't call him to ask him how he managed to hide the mixer

Once this happenend on a couple of reboots in row. i just installed the kx on itself, problem was gone. have you set the hardware-accerlation for the soundcard to full?
in the windows settings, go to sound + multimedia, set ha-acc to full and speakers to sourround or 5.1, depends what windows you are using hope it helps,
