Best way for me to set up my system.
I would like to use a computer for our live show where i can run vst effects live. I've been reading around, im just trying to see what you all think of the best way for me to do this would be.
I need 2 inputs for vocals to run waves rcomp,(so i could probobly just pan them out of the mixer 1 L, and 1 R into the line in) and I also need one input to run aptrigga (to trigger my bass drum). So i think my first question would be do these drivers allow me to record more than a single input (line in, mic etc..) at a time? or do i need to install another live. And second, any suggestions of a software to run vst effects with minimal cpu power? Any help would be awesome. thanks in advance -alex |

I use FLStudio to run 2 mics for my live setup.
I run 1 mic into the LiveDrive Mic input, and the second into the AC97 Mic input on the card. Here is my DSP setup http://members.iinet.net.au/~pmerwarth/kx1.jpg and here is my FLStudio mixer setup. http://members.iinet.net.au/~pmerwarth/FLS.jpg I can run all this with 2ms latency. Any questions, please ask. You can find the ProFX AC97 plug here... http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-dsp/69735-new-profx-ac97-plugin.html Hope this helps some.
