Anyone hardwired RCA outputs?

I'm trying to avoid the 1/8" jacks for a couple reasons... one, I have a 7.1 audigy card which of course has only 3 plugs, so apparently I need some kind of bastardized cable to pull 3 RCAs out of a 1/8" jack.

Second, I'm using the card in an automotive environment, and 1/8" plugs aren't the most reliable under vibrating conditions. Are the connection polarities a known quantity in the community so I could just hardwire a breakout to 8 RCA jacks?
