save output volume level for next reboot
Hi folks,
need to say, that I'm new to kx and installed version 5.10.0.3537 successfully. My problem is, after each restart/reboot of WinXP, the master volume is always at highest level. I am using an analog 5.1 speaker system and it nearly hurt my ears playing the starting trumpets of WinXP.So how can I save the volume levels for the next reboot? Thx in advance for your help. ps: using a sblive 5.1 (0x102) |

Save the current settings and give that file a name as you like, at next reboot these settings are restored. Alternative way: connect wave 0/1 (where windows trumpets
) over a mixer-plugin in the DSP and lower there the level. Let the other applications play on different devices (wave 4/5 or 6/7 or 8/9 over the corresponding FXBus) and set there the level to full to have maximum sound.

Hello folks,
I need to add, that there was no way to configure the 5.1 loudspeaker setup right for my sblive (SB0102) and my surround system. Regardless what I configured, I got only 2.1. I uninstalled the 5.10.0.3537 driver and installed 5.10.0.3538h and now everything works perfectly now. regards ... |

Okay, but note this is a beta release and you may have some bugs around. With 3537 version the 5.1 setup is working, it depends on what plugins you´re using in the DSP to route the signals to your outputs. Anyway, 3538 works fine on my second system (need it for testing the new plugs like ProFX and EFX).
