That pesky audigy problem again...
Hi All,
Okay, I'm a complete newbie to all this stuff and have bought an Audigy 2 ZS platinum (not the pro) for use with Cubase SX (other info is 3 gig Pentium 4, 1024 MB ram, 160 Gb HDD, Win XP). I've straight away started hitting the 'samplerate not set....' error, along with some problems with recording etc . I've searched the forums and this seems to be a general problem. Just to make sure I've got this straight, is the solution to download the kx driver? (I ask cos looked at the kx page and in the FAQ's it says the ZS is not FULLY supported yet...) I know this has been covered lots but I got lost in discussions about ASIO and such like which is a bit over my head right now. Maybe someone could give me a hand and point me to the right thread for my problem.... Cheers all. |

The ZS is supported, set in cubase -> device config -> multitrack -> ASIO driver to "kX-asio", set it to 48kHz and save the current template as default. After next start of cubase the error message will not appear anymore. Set in Multimedia properties the hardware acceleration to full and sample conversion to best. Take some time to read the forum and help files. You have to learn a bit before you can manage everything. Donīt lose your patience!
