any plans for this in the future

When i tried the Kx drivers, all of the options it had was confusing, and i took it off cuz of tons of menus with diffent options. any plans for a simpler menu or something like the normal creative drivers software, for the drivers later on in the future.

Cuz i mainy wanted to test them out for my self to see what was the fuss about but the menus and too many options turned me away from the drivers.

what do you mean by too many menu options?
the kX mixer is as basic as it can possibly be, while retaining all the functionality and customisability kX has.

Read the guides. kX is targeted mainly to musicians and by people who want all flexibility and sound quality they can get from the soundcard. That comes at the cost of taking the time to learn. If you are not willing to do that you shouldn't install it.

i know its for musicans, i just saying atleast has a option for some kind of user friendy Gui or something. i was gonna test it out with Fruity Loops Studio 5 that i use, besides giving it a shot in games and what not.

i did try to learn it, but i did take time to learn it, i went thru the menus trying to fiqure it out. but it was confusing to me. i was looking for the menu in it to set up my speakers to 5.1 but couldnt find it, i tried it for atleast 30-40mins.

i dont understand why would u need to sit there trying to learn how to use some drivers, that suppose to be a Alt to creative drivers. i know there may be others that wishing for the same thing. nothing much.

It's not hard to find.

You doubleclick on the kX icon. It opens the mixer.
You click on Speaker Setup. It opens Surrounder.
You set it to 5.1.

You can't simplify the menus as there is nothing to simplify. It's already at its simplest.
