Unified DSP presets?

I have created some very cool DSP presets (DSP arrangements) for simulated surround,but when i try to share them with other users,they get incorrect settings error. Why can't they use presets over all soundcards supported by Kx?
I've unchecked Version Ind. and Card Ind. and Kx Drivers still write card ID into settings file. tried to hand fix it,but then i get error even on my soundcard.

You can ofcourse edit files with your own card ID,but most of users are not knowledgeable enough to do that.
Can anything be done in this area? At least add option to make unified presets.
I have SB Live! 5.1 Player,so presets should work on any SB soundcard without problems (hardware resources shouldn't be the problem).

I know not many users do this,but it could be very useful to share complete DSP arrangements between users. At least i found this to be a very nice feature.

Oh,i'm using Kx 3538h BETA.

what you need to make sure is that each user has the same plugins you have, and that when you save the DSP you de-select the card ind option

I did that but they still get the same error. One guy then modified preset (he changed the ID to his soundcard ID) and it worked after that.
It's funny,i unchecked those options,so only DSP arrangement would be saved,but Kx saved card ID anyway.

kX saves sound device, preset description, driver version and driver flag even if you uncheck everything

But whats the point of those settings if it does on its own anyway?
I strictly removed those,just for these presets to work on any soundcard supported by Kx.
And now i get this argh.

The settings are needed for instance for multiple sound devices to know for which soundcard the settings are - the format of preset files is similar to ini files - it consists of sections, variables and values

a typical section can look like this, depending on your system and which options you saved:

[routing]
routing=0xe0d0100
xrouting=0x3f3f3f3f
routing_1=0xe0d0004
xrouting_1=0x3f3f3f3f
routing_2=0xe0d0008
xrouting_2=0x3f3f3f3f

.. this would work on any card, but it can also look like this

[routing - SB0350 10k2 (e400)]
routing=0xe0d0100
xrouting=0x3f3f3f3f
routing_1=0xe0d0004
xrouting_1=0x3f3f3f3f
routing_2=0xe0d0008
xrouting_2=0x3f3f3f3f

.. this settings would only apply to SB0350, so you can save different dsp's for different sound cards in one file
