Some feedback on this setup?
Hi,
I'm searching the simplest way to playback music with KX drivers. I have an Audigy 2 SZ, and a very fine 5.1 speaker system with Jamo towers. For playback, I'm using Foobar2000 with the channel mixer plugin. My kx DSP have only 3 elements: pv16 -----> surrounder + -----> k2lt eight wires from pv16 to the first 8 IN from surrounder, and then the surrounder output carefully wired to k2lt. The sound is loud, clear and 5.1, but I'm not sure if I miss something here. Some expert feedback? Thanks anticipated, Rozzo |

why do you only have pv16? that's for 24bit audio - i would use fxbus0/1(src) which is wave input

Means that 24 bit audio is only for 24 bit sources?
It's not possible 24 bit playback for sources registered at 16 bit? I thought it should sound better. This way I got a very crisp sound, clearly louder and more definite that when using KX standard DSP array. But don't know if I lose something on the road. |

24 bit only works for 24 bit sounds
16bit will be upmixed to 24bit, but retain the original quality level
