kX Mixer crashes on Windows Startup / DSP doesnt load settings

Hi there,

after reinstalling windows i'm now expiriencing problems that didnt occur before:
When i boot up WinXP and the kX-Mixer loads, it (the mixer) crashes immediately. I think the mixer starts a bit too early when the driver isnt ready yet. Manually starting the mixer a few seconds later works.
But then there is another problem: The DSP doesnt load its settings, it loads just 2 units (a dynamic processor and a EQ-bandpass). The settings it should load are named kXdefault.kx and located in my home directory ...
The driver-version is
5.10.0.3537

and it worked perfectly with the same hardware (audio-card: audigy2) in the previous installation ..

any ideas?
