hi,
i have audigy 2 value (kx manager shows: SB0400 10k2). installed 3538h drivers and I have no sound at all. When PC starts up and when I make restart - I hear winXP standart PC restart sound, but no other sound at all (no clicks, no winamp, etc. only winXP startup and shutdown playing melody sound). what should I do? I'm trying to find here an answer but with no results for now. Last edited by ErXoN; Jun 22, 2005 at 03:13 PM. |

Did you install 3538h fully? See this thread: http://driverheaven.net/showthread.php?t=70982
You must install 3538c and 3538g before 3538h.

1st did you go back and install drivers for 3538c, 3538g, and then place the 3538h files in right place. The newbee guide says to not install the drivers at first, but then you have to go back and install them from each set (c,g,and h). If you did that:
Open kX DSP and right click in the dsp and select reinitialize. Then make sure your speakers are connected right (green front, black rear, orange Center/LFE), in kX Mixer check to make sure "Toggle front rear mode" doesnt have a check mark, and make certain you have 5.1 speakers selected in Windows Control Panel, and in the kX Mixer select what speaker setup you have. Also make sure you select kX Wave 0/1 for playback and Record Device on the Audio tab in Sounds And Audio Devices Property dialog. Did you do a Speaker Test from the kX Mixer? do all speakers work ? Another thing to try is to uninstall 3538 and install 3537 and see if it works right.

Hey I'm not sure if the Audigy 2 Value is supported yet, It may not be, I know Eugene was talking about including support for this card.
The Audigy 2 Value is not officially supported by kX Yet. I really didnt notice your card type. See this thread to maybe get your card working: http://driverheaven.net/showthread.p...ghlight=Audigy

Set the sampling rate to 96000 (default 48000) and you got sound.
