Rear works! But can't control with Master Volume
How do I hook the Rears up to work with Master Volume? they sound great, just can't adjust volume or mute them in either KXmixer or windows.

You can't with the current version of kX and these cards (from reading another thread it appears that you have an OEM version of an sb022x). 3538i should provide better support for these cards. See the sb22x - no rear and/or center/lfe output thread for additional info.
