4 soundcards, KX drivers and sonar 4.0.2
here is my problem...
i'm using 4 soundcards, namely SB0060, 2x SB0220 and CT 4670. my system configuration is as follows: sempron +2600, 1024 DDR at 333MHz, XP professional, WD600BB IDE ATA 2mb chache... and KX drivers v 3838c my aim was to record live drum kit using 8 tracks (4 cards x 2 mono line in channels) using sonar 4.0.2 and MME driver mode. everything seemed to work fine but... there is a significant problem with synchronization. there is no delay at the beginning of the song but after 4 minutes of continuous recording there is a delay of about 1/2 a second. I tried ASIO drivers but as far as I’m aware there are no ASIO support for multicard recording. I would appreciate any help. Thanks Pips |

The right way is to connect the slave cards to one 'master' card through SPDIF, and then record the ASIO channels from that 'master' card only. Depending on available hardware it is possible to record 6 to 8 seperate analog mono channels that way. Search this forum for details as it is dicussed before. Also see TravelRecs SPDIF project thread for info. /LeMury |
