Can you tune treble and bass with Kx project driver?

Hi,

installed this driver, (driver only)
i find there is a "kx" in the system tray, can i tune up the treble and bass there? but where?

I find that this driver will use a little more memory than creative driver, is it normal?
kx mixer peak will use 16000k (mem usuage) is it normal?

Now when i play SWAT 4 with this Audigy 2 and KX driver, seems like the EAX (or i should say the admosphere noise and sound) is not as loud as my onboard AC97.(asus p4p800e-d)

is there something i have to tune to get a better or not the best performance?

You can adjust Treble/Bass using the Timbre plugin, or use one of the EQ plugins. Connect them in between Surrounder+ and Epilog, for whatever channels you want to change.

kxmixer uses about 7028K memory on my system (and using kx driver version 3538h). I am not sure what would be considered normal memory usage for it (I never really payed much attention to it).

As for the atmospheric sounds, it is possible that the dynamic range of your onboard sound is different from that of the Audigy and thus could sound different. Also, reverb and other plugins could have an effect on that as well.

You should really read through the avaialble guides for kX and experiment around with it a bit to get a better understanding of how kX works, so you can make the necessary adjustments to tailor the sound to your own personal preferences.
