Using multiple inputs
Hei.
I know it's impossible to record trough AC97 using multiple inputs(line-in and mic-in simultaneously) but what I would like to do is to record using line-in while being able to hear mic-in (so it would just pass from physical input to physical output). Any suggestions according to this topic are welcome ![]() The situation itself is simple: I'm recording vocals and the singer is in the other room headphones on. So I would like to be able to speak with him using my computer microphone. shadi. |

So do you have to speak with the singer in the middle of a song or are do you want to talk to him / her at the end of a take?

Are you using a real world Mixer?
If so, just plug your mic in one of the inputs and bring the gain up and down when needed. |
